ABOUT ME

Kelly Rachu, MA LMFT:

Hello! I'm glad you're here.

Among the many life experiences that led me into the world of therapy, one thing has remained constant: my passion for helping people nurture healthy, meaningful relationships in every area of life. I believe the relationship we have with ourselves deeply influences the relationships we have with partners, children, family, and friends and that all of these connections are intertwined.

My approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and genuine care, with the goal of helping clients build confidence, strengthen connections, and create lasting emotional well-being. I've found that bringing my human self into the therapy room - humor, imperfections, and all - helps create a safe, compassionate, and supportive space where clients from all cultures and communities feel heard, understood, valued, and comfortable showing up as their authentic selves as well.

I enjoy working with adult individuals, couples, and families navigating challenges related to self-esteem, anxiety, CPTSD, family of origin dynamics, maternal & paternal mental wellness, and relationship concerns.

In the office, you'll likely find me kicking off my shoes and sipping tea as we settle into conversation together.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and kids, trying new restaurants, going for walks outdoors, cooking, gardening, and traveling whenever I get the chance.

I hold a BA in International Studies, a MA in Marriage and Family Therapy, and am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

I look forward to meeting you!
